Micromax unveils Canvas W121 and W092

At its Build conference held in San Francisco, Microsoft along with its new hardware partner, Micromax, launched two Windows Phone handsets, Canvas Win W121 and Canvas Win W092. Micromax is India’s second largest handset maker that is known for offering reasonably priced Android smartphones. Currently, it is reaching out to the Windows fans with their latest Windows phones. Let’s check out the features that both these Micromax Canvas smartphones have to offer.

Micromax Canvas Win W121

Micromax Canvas W121 comes with a 5 inch display that provides 720p resolution. It works on the Windows Phone 8.1 that has enhanced features as compared to the previous version. Apart from that, the new Micromax Canvas W121 comes with an 8 MP primary camera, 2 MP secondary camera, adequate 8 GB internal storage and a large 2000 mAh battery. This smartphone is compact and slimmer than most of the Canvas smartphones running on Android OS. This smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 200 chipset and provides dual SIM connectivity.

Micromax Canvas Win W092

Micromax Canvas Win W092 features a 4 inch WVGA IPS display. It runs on Snapdragon 200 chipset and sports a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash. This smartphone also provides a 0.3 MP front camera that is perfect for video calling. Apart from that, it offers 8 GB expandable storage, dual SIM feature and a 1500 mAh battery.

Both the Micromax Canvas Win W092 and Canvas Win W121 are powered by Qualcomm processors that provide impressive performance. They are built on 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processors along with 1 GB RAM. These smartphones run on Windows Phone 8.1 which is the latest version of Windows Phone OS.

The Micromax Canvas Win W092 and Canvas Win W121 will be available from July onwards. It is anticipated that these smartphones will give some serious competition to the already existing Android phones like Moto E and Moto G..
